PANSY — Cognac Diamonds is conceived as a wearable sculpture inspired by the quiet complexity of the pansy flower. Rather than reproducing nature literally, the work translates the flower’s layered petals into a composition of light, volume, colour and movement.
Set in precious gold, the earrings are articulated through a constellation of natural cognac and champagne-toned diamonds, creating a warm spectrum that shifts from deep amber to soft golden brown. Each stone contributes to the overall surface like a fragment of pigment in a miniature painting, while the irregularity of colour gives the piece an organic, almost botanical presence.
The densely pavé-set petals contrast with the sculptural gold centre, creating a dialogue between precision and imperfection, structure and nature. When worn, the diamonds respond continuously to movement and light, transforming the flower from a static form into a living object.
